Enhance your event pages by adding a Google Map to show the event location. Follow this step-by-step guide to integrate a Google Map into your event page using the Events In WP plugin.
Step 1: Log In to Your WordPress Dashboard
Log in to your WordPress website dashboard to begin.
Step 2: Navigate to the Map Settings
- Go to the “Events In” section.
- Click on the “Map” button.
Step 3: Provide the Google API Key
- Enter your Google API Key in the provided field.
Step 4: Select the Map Type
Choose the desired map type for your event page.
Step 5: Save Changes
Click on the “Save Changes” button to apply the settings.
Step 6: Add Map Coordinates to Your Event
Step 6.1: Edit the Event
- Go to the “Events” section and click on “All Events.”
- Edit the event where you want to add the map.
Step 6.2: Enter Event Coordinates
- Go to the “Event Information” section.
- Provide the latitude and longitude of the event venue.
Step 6.3: Update the Event
Click the “Update” button to save your changes.
